Our First Wedding Photo Booth Experience

This wedding was the very first time I set up a photo booth for such an event. Naturally, I felt a little nervous at first, but once guests began filing in, it was clear they were ready to have fun. My nerves quickly disappeared!

Props, Poses, and Plenty of Laughter

I had brought along a handful of playful props—nothing too elaborate yet, just some fun items on sticks—but they did the trick. Guests wasted no time striking silly poses and creating memories that will last a lifetime. The laughter, smiles, and joy made it such a rewarding experience for me personally, and it showed just how much a photo booth can add to the celebration.

Of course, the setting itself was a showstopper. Hawkesdene is a hidden gem tucked into the heart of the North Carolina mountains, known for its rustic elegance paired with modern amenities. With rolling hills, lush greenery, and serene mountain views, it’s no surprise this venue has become one of the most sought-after destination wedding locations in Western North Carolina.

A Summer Celebration to Remember

There’s nothing quite like a summer block party, and the Ramshackle Block Party in Clayton, Georgia was the perfect way to kick off June! With more than 50 vintage cars lining Main Street, three stages packed with live music, and 48 local vendors showcasing the best of North Georgia, the energy was unmatched.

We were thrilled to be right in the middle of it all with our digital photo booth, helping guests capture unforgettable memories. Attendees came from all over the region—including Blairsville, Young Harris, Dahlonega, Franklin, and Highlands—to join in on the fun.

Vintage Vibes and Fun Props

Since the event centered around classic cars, we made sure our photo booth reflected the theme.

Custom Props with a Local Twist

We brought along custom-printed sign props featuring a vintage car flair, plus a few local favorites like #godawgs and #Iloveclayton. Of course, our fan-favorite oversized sunglasses and funny handheld signs made plenty of appearances in photos as well.

The Perfect Outdoor Setup

Our booth was set up outdoors in front of a beautiful wooded backdrop, giving every photo a natural, scenic touch. To keep guests cool in the Georgia sun, we also provided a shaded tent—though that didn’t stop us from stepping out into the action!

Taking the Photo Booth on the Road

One of the best parts of this event was going mobile with our roaming photo booth. Instead of staying in one spot, we moved through the block party, capturing candid shots of guests enjoying every moment.

From classic car owners proudly posing with their rides to families dancing to live music, we were able to capture the spirit of the day as it unfolded in real-time.

A Picture-Perfect Day

The weather couldn’t have been better—partly sunny with just the right amount of warmth—making it an ideal day for an outdoor celebration. With live bands playing, food vendors serving up local favorites, and so much to see and do, the energy stayed high from start to finish.

By the end of the block party, hundreds of people had stepped in front of our camera. Whether they were rocking oversized sunglasses or holding a custom sign, everyone left with a photo strip in hand—and a smile on their face.

Looking Ahead

The Ramshackle Block Party was a fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to bring our photo booth fun back to Clayton, GA again soon. From vintage vibes to community spirit, this event had it all—and we’re so grateful we got to be part of it!
